Gatlinburg the Gateway to the Smoky Mountains

De Wikillerato

Gatlinburg is the gateway to the Smoky Mountains, one of our treasured National Parks. You can spend days in the mountains with all kinds of stuff to do. But the small town of Gatlinburg is some thing not to overlook. You can spend a week there with all kinds of shopping, functions and loads of food choices. Right next store is Pigeon Forge, home of Dollywood and Splash Mountain. Pigeon Forge is an additional entire getaway by itself. I can see why 12 million persons go to this region every year. The very best part of this getaway is where you stay. Instead of a tiny hotel you can rent a log cabin property in the mountains. Theses cabins often have more than your own residence in them. The one we stayed at, Rocky Top, was a deluxe one bed room cabin with a master suite, gas log stone fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, satellite Television, wi-fi, game room, bbq grill, jacuzzi, hot tub on back deck, covered back deck with stunning view of the mountains. We relaxed with a glass of wine every evening in the rocking chairs and gazed at the mountains. We could have stayed forever.
